Pricing

Free while in beta.

Every feature, every connector, your whole team. No tiers, no add-ons, no card. When that changes you will hear it from us first.

How much does Bastle cost?

Bastle is free while it is in beta. Every feature and every connector is included, there are no paid tiers or add-ons, and no payment method is required to create an account. Bastle will introduce pricing at some point, and will announce it before it takes effect rather than applying it to running accounts.

What is included

Free means undivided, not limited.

The usual shape of this category is a cheap tier with the useful parts removed and sold back as add-ons. There is no packaging here to reason about.

Every feature, undivided

Metrics, segmentation, dunning, cancellation insights, forecasting and data rooms are one product. Nothing is sold as an add-on, because there is nothing to sell.

Every connector

Connect as many billing and payment sources as you have. Integrations are not rationed by plan, so unifying two Stripe accounts is not an upgrade path.

The API, MCP server and CLI

Programmatic access is included rather than reserved for a developer tier. An API you have to pay to reach gets designed around instead of built on.

Your whole team

Per-seat pricing makes people share logins, which ruins the audit trail it was supposed to protect. Invite everyone who should see the numbers.

No card, no call

Bastle has no checkout and stores no payment method. You cannot be charged by accident because there is no mechanism to charge you.

Your data, exportable

Export customers, subscriptions and computed metrics whenever you want, including on your way out. Leaving is not a support ticket.

Included does not mean finished. Bastle is in beta and parts of the product are still roadmap. Every feature’s real status, checked against the source rather than the marketing, is published on the about page.

Why it is free right now

Bastle has no customers and no track record. Charging for unproven software, then asking a founder to trust its numbers over the ones already in their billing dashboard, is the wrong way round. Right now usage and blunt feedback are worth more than revenue.

There is a second reason, and it is competitive. The most consistent complaint about the incumbent in this category is price: no free tier, and retention tooling sold as add-ons that stack well past the advertised number, so the real monthly cost lands far above the one on the pricing page. That is a durable grievance rather than a passing one, and being quiet about the single axis where we are unambiguously better would be a strange choice.

So the position is simple. Connect your billing data, use the whole product, and decide whether the numbers are trustworthy before anyone asks you for money.

When beta ends

Bastle will charge eventually. Saying otherwise would be a pleasant thing to read and a lie, and this is a product whose entire argument is that its numbers can be trusted. What can be committed to now is the shape of the change, not the price:

  • Notice before it applies. Pricing gets announced ahead of taking effect. It does not appear on an account that is already running.
  • A free tier survives. Small volumes stay free. The complaint being answered here is that there is nowhere to start; reintroducing that would defeat the point.
  • Nothing gets held hostage. Data you connected remains exportable, and anything you built on — a data room, an API integration, a scheduled report — keeps working through any transition rather than stopping at a paywall.

Pricing questions

How much does Bastle cost?

Nothing, while Bastle is in beta. There are no tiers, no add-ons, no per-seat charges and no card required to sign up. The application contains no billing code and no checkout, so there is no path by which a beta account gets charged.

What is the catch?

Bastle is new and unproven, and that is the trade. There are no customers to reference, some of the roadmap is not built, and you would be relying on software that has not yet been run against thousands of accounts. In exchange you get the whole product for nothing and direct influence over what gets built. The status of every feature, including the unbuilt ones, is published on the about page.

Will Bastle always be free?

No, and it would be dishonest to imply otherwise. Bastle will charge for some tier of usage eventually, because a subscription-analytics company with no revenue is not a credible one. What will not happen is a surprise: pricing will be announced before it takes effect, not applied to accounts already running.

What happens to my account when pricing arrives?

You will be told before anything changes, and a free tier will remain for small volumes. The specific commitment is that nothing you have already connected, built on or shared stops working without notice and a way to export first.

Do you take a percentage of my revenue?

No. Bastle reads your billing data to compute metrics and never moves money. It is not a payment processor and takes no cut of anything it measures.

Is the free plan limited by revenue volume?

Not during beta. Revenue-scaled pricing is a common model in this category and it is one of the more frequent complaints about it, since the bill grows precisely when a team is least able to absorb it. Whether the eventual free tier is bounded by MRR is undecided; today nothing is capped.

Free, and there is no card field to fill in.
